AceShowbiz - Harry Styles is set to curate the 2026 Meltdown Festival, bringing a diverse mix of musical genres to London’s Southbank Centre from June 11 to June 21. The festival lineup reflects Styles’ wide-ranging tastes, featuring a blend of legendary performers and fresh talents, with disco influences appearing occasionally throughout the event.
Harry Styles will headline the festival with a performance at the Royal Festival Hall on June 16. While ticket details for his show are still pending, tickets for the rest of the festival will be available starting Thursday. The event notably does not include hard-rock icons Kiss, indicating a focus on variety rather than rock-heavy acts.
In a statement, Styles expressed his passion for music and admiration for the artists involved. He highlighted the importance of honoring both trailblazing legends and emerging musicians who inspire him creatively. “Music is my life; every artist involved in this year’s Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan and a musician,” he said.
The lineup features James Murphy, frontman of LCD Soundsystem, who will perform a DJ set. Electronic musician Jon Hopkins is scheduled for a live performance alongside multi-instrumentalist Maddie Ashman and composer Leo Abrahams. New compositions will be presented by the Devonté Hynes Ensemble, while singer and composer Beverly Glenn-Copeland will perform with his wife and artistic partner Elizabeth.
This carefully curated selection underscores Styles’ commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of sounds, blending electronic, disco, and contemporary music. The Meltdown Festival promises to be a dynamic celebration of musical innovation under the guidance of one of today’s most influential artists.
