AceShowbiz - After nearly a year of anticipation, Underscores has officially revealed details about her upcoming album titled U. This marks the third studio LP from April Harper Grey, set to launch on March 20 via Mom + Pop.
The album rollout has been led by three singles: "Music," "Do It," and "Tell Me (U Want It)". The artist shared that these tracks were created with a unique concept in mind. "Music for malls, airports, hotels, supermarkets. I wrote these songs for U," Grey explained in press materials. Notably, at least one song was composed in the middle of the Mall of America, highlighting the unconventional inspiration behind the project.
One of the album’s singles, "Music," has already earned recognition, ranking at No. 45 on The 100 Best Songs of 2025. This early acclaim suggests that U could be a significant release for Underscores in the upcoming year.
