AceShowbiz - The Australian indie rock group Spacey Jane have unveiled their latest single, Do You Really Love Her, accompanied by an official music video. Alongside this release, the band has announced a comprehensive series of summer tour dates across the United States.

This single marks the first new music from Spacey Jane since their critically acclaimed third album, If That Makes Sense. Frontman Caleb Harper shared insight into the track’s history, explaining that the song was originally excluded from the album because it didn’t quite fit the overall vibe. However, the band always intended to release it eventually, and now the timing feels right for its debut.

“For some reason the song didn't feel like the right fit for the album but we always wanted it to see the light of day,” Harper said in an official statement.

The track was written on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills, crafted with the help of collaborators Sarah Aarons and Joel Little, and produced by John Hill. Spacey Jane drew inspiration from classic Australian pub rock, naming influential bands such as INXS, The Church, and Icehouse as key sources of nostalgia and creativity for the song.

Harper described Do You Really Love Her and future releases as a creative experiment. “This release and the others to follow are almost experiments,” he said. “Songs we love that didn't end up on an album. Something we want to share while we take stock and reset.”

The If That Makes Sense Tour is set to kick off on June 2 in New Haven, Connecticut. The band will also perform at several major music festivals this summer, including Governors Ball Music Festival on June 6, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on June 14, and Osheaga Festival on August 2.

In addition to these festival appearances, Spacey Jane will support Rainbow Kitten Surprise on a series of amphitheater dates throughout July. Notable stops on this run include the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 21 and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver on July 25. Fans can access the artist presale starting March 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales opening on March 20.

Alongside their touring plans, the band will release a live album titled Live at The Hordern Pavilion (Sydney, NSW) 2025 for Record Store Day in April. This album features recordings from three sold-out shows at the iconic Sydney venue, capturing the band’s energetic live performances.

If That Makes Sense debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and garnered nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Video at the 2025 ARIA Awards. Additionally, Spacey Jane was recognized as the most played artist on Triple J for the year, highlighting their significant presence in the Australian music scene.

The band’s 2020 debut album, Sunlight, included the hit single “Booster Seat,” which won the ARIA Award for Song of the Year and has achieved 7x platinum certification, underscoring the group’s ongoing success.
