AceShowbiz - The singing voices behind Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters made a memorable appearance at the BAFTA Film Awards in London on Sunday night, energizing the crowd with their hit song "Golden."

Performing live outside the U.S. for the first time, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—who provide the singing voices for the film’s main characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—delivered a dynamic rendition of their Grammy-winning track at the prestigious event. The audience was visibly engaged, nodding along and moving to the infectious rhythm of the song.

When announced as performers for the BAFTAs, the trio expressed that appearing on such a significant stage was a dream come true for their younger selves. They proudly represented KPop Demon Hunters, emphasizing the film’s inspiring message that has resonated with fans worldwide. The story centers on three women demon hunters who harness the power of their singing voices to create a protective magical barrier known as the Honmoon.

Emma Baehr, BAFTA’s executive director of awards & content, praised the film’s impact, noting how the Sony-produced animation has deeply connected with audiences of all ages since its release last summer. She highlighted the excitement around the singers from HUNTR/X bringing their vibrant K-pop energy to the EE BAFTA Film Awards.

The animated musical, created by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, has achieved remarkable success, becoming Netflix’s most-watched film ever. It earned a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Meanwhile, "Golden," the film’s standout song, also secured an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song and was the most-streamed track worldwide last year.

Adding to its accolades, KPop Demon Hunters dominated the Annie Awards—the animation industry’s top honors—on Saturday. The film swept 10 awards from ASIFA-Hollywood’s L.A. Branch, including best feature, best FX, best character animation, best character design, and best production design.

The BAFTA Film Awards ceremony took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, hosted by Alan Cumming. The event celebrated outstanding achievements in film, with KPop Demon Hunters performers leaving a lasting impression on one of Britain’s biggest entertainment nights.
