AceShowbiz - Sam Fender and Olivia Dean's collaboration, Rein Me In, has maintained its position at No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart for a second consecutive week.
The track originally reached the top spot on February 20 after an unprecedented climb, spending 35 consecutive weeks in the top 40 before finally claiming number one. This milestone marks the first time Sam Fender has achieved a No. 1 single, while it is the second chart-topping hit for Olivia Dean.
Rein Me In was initially released as part of Sam Fender's People Watching album in February 2025. Four months later, Olivia Dean joined the Geordie-born artist on stage at his London Stadium concert to perform the song live. Following that event, a new studio version featuring both artists was released, fueling the track’s surge in popularity.
The single is also in contention for the fan-voted Song of the Year category at the upcoming BRIT Awards scheduled for Saturday, February 28. Sam Fender himself is nominated in several other categories, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Alternative/Rock Act. Meanwhile, Olivia Dean is competing in Album, Artist, Song, and Pop Act categories.
In addition to their joint success, Olivia Dean holds the No. 2 spot on the chart with her solo track So Easy (To Fall in Love), which remains steady from the previous week.
