In her pivotal role, Alice Taylor will execute the strategic roadmap for BBC Studios’ AI initiatives. She'll advocate for responsible AI integration in creative production. Amid industry concerns regarding AI's impact, her mandate is to ensure the Lab's output remains innovative, ethical, editorially sound, and technically robust.
Alice Taylor will also assemble a small, highly specialised team of AI creatives, technologists, and producers. This group will foster experimentation across BBC Studios’ diverse global content genres, pushing creative boundaries from drama and comedy to factual and children's programming.
The AI Creative Lab will supercharge innovation across BBC Studios’ global production. It's a dedicated hub for experimentation, bringing together AI specialists, creatives, and producers. They'll explore how AI can unlock new possibilities across the entire production lifecycle – from concept development to post-production. The Lab will support teams across scripted, unscripted, global productions, audio content, and kids & family categories.
