AceShowbiz - In a recent appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she's eager to revisit the liberating experience of shaving her head. This time, however, it's not for a role but for a very personal reason.
When asked by host Alex Cooper how it felt to shave her head for her role as Eleven on Netflix's hit show "Stranger Things", Brown said she "loved" the experience and is looking forward to doing it again.
"I always tell Jake for my first baby, I wanna shave my hair off," Brown explained, referring to her husband Jake Bongiovi. "Maybe like right before I'm about to give birth."
The actress went on to encourage other women to try shaving their heads at least once in their lives, describing it as an immensely liberating journey. She did, however, share that her initial experience, particularly at a young age, had its ups and downs, noting she was bullied in public due to her look. Yet, for Brown, the empowerment far outweighed the negative remarks.
The actress also opened up about her future family plans, eager to start a family after tying the knot with Jake Bongiovi last May. This has been a long-standing dream for Brown, who shared on the "Smartless" podcast that her maternal aspirations have been present since childhood.
"My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. And you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake," Brown said. "Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me."
Brown emphasized that while she is focused on establishing herself in her career as an actor and producer, starting a family is of paramount importance to her. Both she and Jake Bongiovi come from large families with four children each, and they envision a similar future for themselves.
"And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family," Brown shared. "I'm one of four. He's one of four."
In a world where celebrities are often scrutinized for their choices, Millie Bobby Brown offers a refreshing perspective. Her plans to shave her head and focus on nurturing her child illustrate her commitment to embracing motherhood in the most authentic way possible.
