Hollywood is no stranger to behind-the-scenes drama, but the set of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's 'It Ends With Us' has been a hotbed of controversy with the latest one involving actress Jenny Slate.

AceShowbiz - Jenny Slate was revealed to have filed an HR complaint while filming "It Ends With Us". She was reportedly unnerved by an "uncomfortable†interaction with Wayfarer Studios President Jamey Heath.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Slate's complaint stemmed from a conversation with Heath about the apartment she had rented in New York City during the film's production. Slate was unhappy with her rented pad but felt unable to move due to a hefty $15,000 security deposit.
Heath allegedly offered to reimburse Slate for the loss if she relocated but did so using language that made her uncomfortable. Sources cited Heath's intense focus on the sanctity of motherhood and Slate's role as a mother as contributing factors to her unease.
Reps for Slate, Heath, and Sony Pictures have not commented on the matter.
This incident came to light just days after co-star Blake Lively filed an amended lawsuit against male co-star and director Justin Baldoni as well as Jamey Heath, alleging that multiple women was made feeling uncomfortable on set.
Baldoni's lawyer called her amended lawsuit "underwhelming" and lack of "actual evidence." The lawyer said the document was "filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims."
The lawsuit, originally filed in December 2024, claims Baldoni sexually harassed Lively, making her and others feel unsafe. The lawsuit was countered by a defamation suit from Baldoni against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
The set of "It Ends With Us" continues to be mired in accusations and legal battles, with a trial set for March 2026.
Back in December after Lively's initial complaint, Jenny Slate publicly supported the "Gossip Girl" alum, calling her a "loyal friend" and "trusted source of emotional support." Slate voiced her concerns about the attacks on Lively's reputation and commended her bravery for taking a stand.
As more details emerge, the controversy surrounding "It Ends With Us" serves as a stark reminder of the complexities and conflicts that can arise in the high-pressure environment of film production.
