As wildfires devastate Los Angeles, Spencer Pratt fiercely supports Mandy Moore after she faces criticism for promoting a GoFundMe for her affected family members.

AceShowbiz - Spencer Pratt has taken to social media to ardently defend Mandy Moore after she was criticized for sharing a GoFundMe page to support her family members affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Moore, star of "This Is Us," faced backlash for asking for donations despite her celebrity status.

Pratt, whose Pacific Palisades home was also ravaged by the fires, praised Moore's kindness dating back to their initial meeting in the early 2000s.

"Mandy Moore, when I was younger, shout-out Mandy Moore. She booked my hotel for me because she was such a nice friend," he said in a TikTok video. "I will ride for Mandy Moore. If I see one more TikTok about Mandy Moore and GoFundMes, I'm going to start coming after you guys," he warned.

Pratt's passionate defense continued with him urging followers to reconsider their judgment of Moore. "Maybe delete your content about Mandy Moore because Mandy Moore is a real one. She's a great human."

"She's not doing anything out of pocket - she's posting GoFundMe's, that's great. She doesn't have to pay for whoever. She's got her own life, probably her own kids, so don't you come for Mandy Moore."

Moore, who was forced to evacuate her home with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children, sought support for her brother-in-law, Griff, and sister-in-law, Kit, who lost their home weeks before the birth of their first baby. Responding to critics, Moore expressed frustration, "We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. No one is forcing you to do anything."

"We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It's not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and griffin's studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they've ever owned," Moore shared on Instagram.

Both Moore and Pratt have been open about their individual losses. Moore further shared her commitment to aiding her community in rebuilding efforts, "Feeling weird survivor's guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support."

As Southern California continues to grapple with the aftermath of the wildfires, the outspoken support from fellow victims like Spencer Pratt affirms the compassion and solidarity during these trying times.
