Following a tragic car accident that left him with life-threatening injuries, teen actor Hudson Joseph Meek who played a younger version of Ansel Elgort's character in 'Baby Driver' passed away in hospital.

AceShowbiz - Hudson Joseph Meek, a promising 16-year-old actor and Vestavia Hills resident, passed away on Saturday, December 21, two days after falling from a moving vehicle in the 1900 block of Canyon Road on Thursday, December 19.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Meek sustained blunt force trauma during the accident. He was taken to UAB Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meek's acting credits include the 2017 Edgar Wright-directed film "Baby Driver," in which he portrayed the younger version of the film's main character played by Ansel Elgort. He also appeared in the NBC drama "Found" and the upcoming film "The School Duel."
In addition to his acting accomplishments, Meek was a sophomore at Vestavia Hills High School and a member of the football team. He was described by an obituary as a vibrant and dynamic person who loved meeting new people and serving others. He was also devoted to his Christian faith.
The Vestavia Hills Police Department is investigating the incident. Meek's talent agency, J Pervis Talent Agency, expressed their grief and praised his passion, enthusiasm, and ability to inspire others.
Hudson's family and friends are comforted by the support they have received from the community. A celebration of his life will be held on December 28, and details of a scholarship fund in his memory at Vestavia Hills High School will be shared at a later date.
