Jay-Z is drawing the line between himself and embattled star Diddy after both are facing damning allegations against a 13-year-old girl in a Hollywood party amid Diddy's scandal.

AceShowbiz - Jay-Z is currently entangled in a civil lawsuit accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl at an after-party for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000. The accuser, who goes by "Jane Doe," amended her previous lawsuit against P. Diddy earlier this year to include these allegations against Jay-Z.
In an interview with NBC News, Jay-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, firmly denied the accusations, stating, "This case needs to be dismissed, and Mr. Carter's name needs to be fully cleared."
Spiro also emphasized that there is no significant connection between Jay-Z and Diddy, "There is no friendship or longtime bond here. Just because they knew each other, know each other, that doesn't mean anything."
Adding to the fervent defense, Jay-Z himself released a statement shooting down the allegations and accusing the plaintiff's attorney, Tony Buzbee, of trying to blackmail him.
Jay-Z expressed his strong resolve, saying, "What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a very public fashion. So no, I will not give you one red penny!!"
Spiro also commented on the controversy surrounding Jay-Z's impassioned remarks, "Mr. Carter speaks for himself, and he speaks from a position of strength because he's completely innocent and these claims are obviously false. But it is upsetting. Nobody wants to hear these things. We expect Mr. Carter to be cleared of this in the coming days."
Reinforcing his stance, Jay-Z told NBC News, "True Justice is coming. We fight FROM victory, not FOR victory. This was over before it began. This 1-800 lawyer doesn't realize it yet, but, soon."
As this legal battle unfolds, young fans and the broader public watch closely, awaiting the court's decision. Regardless of the outcome, the case highlights the complicated dynamics of public scrutiny and the impact it can have on the lives of those involved.
