Colman Domingo, who portrays Ali Muhammed, Rue's sponsor, has reportedly been confirmed to return for Season 3. However, he admits to knowing little about the upcoming season's details.

"Apparently, I will be back for Season 3," Domingo said in an interview with Variety. "I don’t know anything about the scripts. I don’t know anything about the production date. But allegedly, Ali is back. From what I’ve heard."

HBO has declined to comment on Reid's departure.

Production for "Euphoria" season 3 is scheduled to begin in January. The season will consist of eight episodes and is rumored to take place approximately five years in the future. According to HBO boss Casey Bloys, all of the show's core cast members are expected to return.
