AceShowbiz - Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole makes another allegations against the Kansas City Chiefs star's girlfriend Taylor Swift. In a new report, Kayla suggested that the pop star is stealing her spot among and causing a rift between her and the Chiefs WAGs.
Speaking to Radar Online, Kayla claimed that things are now different when it comes about her friendship with her inner circle. "We are not as cool as we were once before," Kayla, who broke up with Travis in 2022 after dating for 5 years, shared. She noted that she and her now distant friends used to be close "like family."
A source, meanwhile, told Marca that Kayla is "frustrated" as she felt like she was being "pushed out" of the spotlight because of Taylor, who has become a regular in the stands at Arrowhead. She recently showed support for Travis and his team when they were going against the Denver Broncos.
The rift between Kayla and the partners of Chiefs players was first hinted when the social media influencer unfollowed Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes last year due to their close relationship with the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker. "The reality is I know these people in real life," Kayla, who was a bridesmaid at the Mahomes' wedding, told PEOPLE at the time.
"And so, in real life, I've communicated to these people why I've had to publicly make the decisions that I made. (Brittany) knows that I love her," she explained. "But publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That's really all that is. The love is still there."
The new report came after Kayla received backlash following her appearance on Angel Reese's "Unapologetically Angel", on which she talked about the harassment she's receiving from Taylor's "crazy" fans, known as Swifities. "I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos didn't impact me -- it does. Even to this day," she said.
"It is nothing to do with me. I don't know," Kayla further divulged. "I think that there's something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people and it's unfortunate because I've never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash."
