AceShowbiz - Donald Trump continues taking aim at Beyonce Knowles following her appearance at a recent Kamala Harris rally. The former president mocked the R&B diva and made false claims about her during his own campaign rally in Green Bay on Wednesday, October 30.
Wearing an orange and yellow vest in a troll over President Joe Biden's previous clapback at Tony Hinchcliffe's "garbage" comment, he tooled around in Wisconsin in a garbage truck. He continued wearing the vest at the rally.
"They got Beyonce," he said when taking the podium. "They said Beyonce is coming to sing and she came, but she didn't sing." He falsely said that Beyonce and Harris got booed at the Texas rally. "And then Kamala came on as Beyonce was leaving without singing even one song and they booed the hell out of both of them," he added, as the crowd erupted in laughter.
Beyonce indeed did not sing at the Harris event last Friday, October 25 in Houston, but she did not get booed off stage. In her own words, the Grammy winner said she wasn't there as a celebrity, but as a mother.
Introduced by her mother Tina Knowles and joined onstage by her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, she told the audience, "We are at the precipice of an incredible shift. The brink of history. I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother, a mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we're not divided."
The 43-year-old continued, "We are at the precipice of an incredible shift. The brink of history. I'm not here as a celebrity. I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother, a mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we're not divided."
Prior to his Wednesday rally, Trump has addressed Beyonce's appearance at the Harris rally, shadily calling it a "dance party." He said of Harris at his Michigan rally, "She's out partying. She's out celebrating!"
The 78-year-old went on mocking, "Joe Biden is asleep. Kamala is at a dance party with Beyonce." He claimed, "This person cannot be a president."
