AceShowbiz - Blue star Simon Webbe apologized to fans after confronting a rude spectator during a performance with the band at the Foodies Festival in August. Footage obtained by MailOnline showed the 45-year-old singer lashing out at a fan who had caught his attention. An onlooker revealed that the fan had been making "rude gestures" towards Webbe.
Webbe's bandmate Lee Ryan stepped in to hold him back and led him to the other side of the stage. The singer apologized for his behavior, and the band wrapped up their performance to a rapturous reception. A representative for Webbe declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
The incident comes just weeks after Webbe announced the birth of his second child with his wife Ayshen. The couple welcomed their daughter Riya Diamond on June 27.
Webbe also has two other daughters, Alanah from a previous relationship and Cyan with Ayshen. The couple had previously endured five miscarriages and turned to IVF to have Cyan, but conceived Riya naturally.
In March, Webbe and Ayshen revealed they were expecting their second child after years of fertility struggles. They shared a video on Instagram showing footage of Ayshen's previous miscarriages and a new clip celebrating their baby news with Cyan.
Blue is currently on a "Greatest Hits Tour" to celebrate their 20th anniversary. They have released three studio albums and two more after their initial hiatus in 2004.
