Both Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes have chosen not to participate in the much-anticipated Bravo reality series focusing on the wives and girlfriends of the Kansas City Chiefs players.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes will not join Bravo's upcoming reality TV series that centers around the Kansas City Chiefs' wives and girlfriends. According to sources who spoke to PEOPLE, both Swift, 34, and Mahomes, 29, opt out of the project.

"Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all and will not even be filmed," a source revealed, emphasizing that Swift is "very protective of what little private life she has left." The pop star, who has been in a relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for over a year, loves the women she met through her relationships but prefers to keep her personal life out of the Bravo storyline.

The reality show, currently in development, aims to spotlight the lives of the WAGs supporting the Super Bowl-winning team. Although the final cast hasn't been confirmed, potential members include Chariah Gordon, fiancée of wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., and Sheawna Weathersby, who shares two children with defensive tackle Chris Jones. Hardman Jr. and Gordon got engaged in June 2024 while Jones and Weathersby have kept their relationship relatively private since it started in 2015.

While the series is in its early stages, Bravo is assessing whether there's enough material to expand it into a full-blown series. An insider noted, "There's still lots to figure out, including who would be a part of the final cast and whether there's enough there to build a full series around. It's very much a work in progress."

The pilot episode was reportedly filmed during the NFL offseason with the Chiefs players making only minor appearances. The narrative is expected to focus primarily on Gordon, Weathersby, and their circle, shedding light on the challenges of being partners to high-profile athletes. Another source added, "The action is all centered around Chariah and Sheawna and their group of friends, who all know the struggles of being partners to these workaholic athletes."

Brittany Mahomes, married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since 2022, is currently pregnant with their third child. The couple, who already have two children, continue to experience the complexities of balancing family life with professional sports commitments.

Though Taylor Swift won't be joining the Bravo series, she remains supportive of her partner Travis Kelce. Despite missing recent Chiefs games and Kelce's 35th birthday celebrations, Swift is expected to attend Kansas City Chiefs upcoming game.

As the Bravo reality show continues to develop, fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and their WAGs will be watching closely to see who makes the final cut.
