As she bids farewell to the bustling streets of Manhattan and the fast-paced world of morning news, Hoda Kotb's new chapter underscores the importance of family and balance in a quiet suburban community.

AceShowbiz - Television icon Hoda Kotb is making a significant lifestyle change, leaving her high-profile role on the "Today" show after 26 years with NBC to spend more quality time with her daughters. Prompted by her desire to give her children, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine, a more grounded upbringing, Kotb has relocated from Manhattan to the serene village of Bronxville, NY.

Following her big announcement, she shared an update by posting a clip of her quiet life in the suburb. "Happy Friday… thank you for the beautiful posts and notes. I’ve read them all… It’s almost too much for my heart to carry… so i will let it overflow — i love you more than you know..this post spoke to me. #joy," she wrote in the caption.

Kotb's new 4,000-square-foot home, purchased for nearly $2.9 million, offers ample space and comfort. The property, built in 1952, features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, and a family room with vaulted ceilings. The spacious primary bedroom, occupying 765 square feet, boasts an ensuite spa bathroom with Calcutta marble-tiled floors and a heated towel warmer.

Kotb expressed her wish for the home to be "warm and cozy" for her daughters. "I want my house for the kids to feel warm and cozy, and a place where they want to hang," Kotb shared during an episode of "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna."

She and her daughters, who previously resided on the Upper West Side with her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, are now enjoying the perks of suburbia. Bronxville, known for its award-winning school system and proximity to Manhattan, provides an ideal environment for raising children.

Kotb described the transition, saying, "We went for our first day of school, I carried a coffee, and I [was wearing] sneakers, and I walked my kids to school like normal people."

The picturesque village of Bronxville features shops, restaurants, parks, and even a yellow brick road running through its historic district. It's a place where "everybody walks, even children, yet we are half an hour from Grand Central," noted a local resident.

The decision to leave "Today" was difficult for Kotb, as she tearfully explained on air. "I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new," she said. "Obviously, I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have." Kotb plans to continue her role until January 1, 2025, and may remain with NBC in some capacity.

As Kotb embarks on this new chapter, she assures her daughters of the adventures that lie ahead. "We're in for a brand-new adventure," she told them. The quiet streets of Bronxville and the promise of a slower pace symbolize this fresh start, perfectly aligning with Kotb's aspirations for her family.
