AceShowbiz - New Mexico police have confirmed that Tito Jackson suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel before his untimely demise on Sunday. A passerby spotted Jackson in distress near the American Heritage Plaza shopping center at approximately 6:17 P.M.
According to former manager Steve Manning, Jackson experienced a heart attack during his cross-state drive. However, an autopsy has yet to be conducted, and his official cause of death remains undetermined.
Jackson had recently relocated from California to the tranquility of Claremore, Oklahoma. He expressed his contentment with his new surroundings, where he could pursue his passion for fishing and connect with his family's roots.
Tragically, Tito Jackson's life was cut short just four days after he visited a memorial in Munich dedicated to his late brother, Michael Jackson. In a heartfelt caption, he wrote, "We're deeply grateful for this special place that honors not only his memory but also our shared legacy."
Tito Jackson is survived by his three sons, Taj, Taryll and TJ, who formed the band 3T. His sons paid tribute to their father in a joint statement, saying, "Our father was an incredible man who cared deeply about others and their well-being."
Jackson rose to fame as a teenager alongside his brothers in the Jackson 5, a group that took the world by storm with their Motown hits. The band, managed by their father, Joe Jackson, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
After the Jackson 5's success, Tito embarked on a solo career, releasing his album "Tito Time" in 2016. Despite his continued musical pursuits, Jackson had recently left Hollywood behind for the peace and serenity of small-town life.
