Fellow 'The Bear' stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jeremy Allen White are also celebrated early at the ceremony alongside other winners including Elizabeth Debicki and Billy Crudup.

AceShowbiz - The 76th annual Primetime Emmy Awards is currently underway. Taking place at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California on Sunday, September 15 and hosted by Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, the ceremony is honoring the best in television.
The first Emmy award to hand out that night was Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series that went to Ebon Moss-Bachrach for his role as Richard "Richie" Jerimovich on Hulu's "The Bear". Winning his second Emmy in consecutive years, he edged out fellow nominees, including Bowen Yang, Lionel Boyce, Paul Rudd, Paul W. Downs and Tyler James Williams.
"I'm so grateful for this show and to work with these beautiful people; Chris [Storer, creator], thank you so much, I love you so much," Ebon said in his acceptance speech. "Thank you to my parents for taking such nice care of my cat, and thanks to Miri and Sasha, my sweet daughters."
As for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, the award went to Billy Crudup, thanks to his stunning appearance on "The Morning Show". During his speech, he gushed over his wife and fellow Emmy nominee Naomi Watts. "I'm happy to be here with my piece of eye candy there," Billy began. "My wife, who also happens to be an immigrant and also gave a searing performance for which she's nominated, and she starts businesses too, so it's nice to be by her side."
Jeremy Allen White was also among the winners that night. The actor was presented with the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, thanks to his performance on "The Bear". This marked the second win for the show that night and Jeremy's the second win in a row.
"I want us to be in each other's lives forever," the Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto depicter said of his "The Bear" co-stars. "This show has changed my life. It has installed a faith that change is possible, that change is possible if you're able to reach out, you're really truly never alone. I thank this show."
"The Bear" continued to be celebrated when star Liza Colon-Zayas was named as the winner of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. It marked Liza's first-ever Emmy award as she noted in her speech that she didn't prepare a speech because she thought winning was impossible. Other stars nominated for the award included Abbott Elementary stars, Janelle James and Sheryl Lee Ralph ("Abbott Elementary"), Carol Burnett ("Palm Royale"), Hannah Einbinder ("Hacks") and Meryl Streep ("Only Murders in the Building)".
Elizabeth Debicki was later named as the winner of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her portrayal of Princess Diana on "The Crown". In her acceptance speech, Elizabeth said, "Playing this part based on this unparalleled, incredible human being has been my great privilege. It has been a gift. Thank you so much."
