David Beckham and his wife Victoria were recognized for their Netflix docuseries 'Beckham: What Makes David Run', which triumphed in the Documentary or Nonfiction Series category at the Creative Arts Emmys.

AceShowbiz - David Beckham, 49, accepted an Emmy award for his Netflix docuseries over videocall as producers rang him from the Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles. Alongside his wife Victoria Adams, 50, Beckham received nominations in five categories for the 2023 Netflix documentary.

The Emmy for Documentary or Nonfiction Series was accepted by producer Fisher Stevens, who called Beckham during the celebration to share the exciting news.

"Alright David," Stevens exclaimed down the phone.

"Unbelievable," Beckham replied, expressing his disappointment at not being able to attend the event in person. However, he promised to celebrate with Stevens in the coming weeks.

The four-part series provided an unprecedented look into Beckham's career and personal life, including his journey as a footballer and the early days of his romance with Victoria.

In addition to Best Documentary or Nonfiction Series, the series earned nominations in several prestigious categories, including Outstanding Cinematography for a Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program, Outstanding Picture Editing, and Outstanding Music Composition.

Victoria Beckham is also preparing to film a tell-all documentary about her fashion brand after landing a deal with Netflix. The documentary will offer an insight into her journey from Spice Girls to successful fashion and beauty entrepreneur.
