AceShowbiz - Shannon Beador of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" has criticized former best friend Tamra Judge for her ongoing commentary on Beador's drinking habits following her 2023 DUI arrest.
In an interview with E! News, Beador stated that Judge "has no right" to question her actions and dismissed her claims of support. "She has had no part of anything that I have done since my DUI," Beador said. "In fact, she left town the day after my DUI."
Beador's comments come ahead of the premiere of "RHOC" Season 18, which will address the fallout from her arrest. In the trailer, Judge repeatedly criticizes Beador, accusing her of not taking accountability for her actions.
However, Beador maintains that she has taken responsibility for her mistake. She admitted to using alcohol as a coping mechanism during her break-up and has since undergone a wellness and alcohol program, as well as regular therapy sessions.
Reflecting on the incident, Beador expressed gratitude that no one was injured. "I feel good about where I am right now. I know I continually will have to work on becoming a healthier and better person," she said.
Despite her personal growth, Beador is apprehensive about reliving the trauma of her DUI on the show. "It was a difficult season for me to film. The DUI was so humiliating," she admitted.
However, Beador remains determined to work on herself and hopes that her story can serve as a cautionary tale for others. "I'm still standing here, so I feel a lot stronger and I'm continually working on myself," she said.
