Megan Thee Stallion Announces Self-Titled Album, Reveals Release Date

Amid her busy schedule for her 'Hot Girl Summer Tour', the 'Girls in the Hood' raptress reveals that she is set to launch her third studio album, 'MEGAN', in a few weeks.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion may have put smiles on her devotees' faces with her announcement. The "Girls in the Hood" raptress announced that she will be releasing her new album in a few weeks.

On Thursday, June 13, the 29-year-old hip-hop artist shared the exciting news on her social media page. Making use of Instagram, she revealed details about her third studio album, which is finally ready for pre-order.

In the caption of her new post, Megan referred to her fans, who are famously known as Hotties, and wrote, "HOTTIESSSSS Pre-Order 'MEGAN' Thee Album Now," adding a flame emoji. She went on to spill the release date of the record, "[an egg emoji] Dropping 6.28 CDs with all covers are available now. Click link in bio."

Not stopping there, Megan unleashed a photo that she seemingly used as the cover art of the album. The artwork appears to have been created to look as if she comes out of a snake egg. She is photographed crawling towards the camera as her hands touch sticky brown liquid on the ground.

The "Hiss" rapper, whose body and hair look wet from the liquid, ditches her top and pants. She puts on a pair of earrings to accessorize herself. She looks stunning with her full makeup, including bold contour on her cheeks, long lashes and natural lip gloss. In addition, her long black tresses, which she lets loose, are long enough to reach the ground.

"MEGAN" will be Megan's first album to be released under her independent label Hot Girl Productions following her departure from her former distributor and label, 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified. The upcoming record is expected to feature a number of songs, including those titled "Hiss" and "Boa" that she has previously dropped.

To promote the album, Megan has been hitting the road for her "Hot Girl Summer Tour", which is her first headlining concert tour. She kicked off the tour in Minneapolis on May 14. It will conclude in Washington, D.C. on July 27.
