AceShowbiz - Draya Michele's attempt to clap back at online haters unfortunately didn't work out. The actress called out those who criticized her 17-year age gap with her boyfriend Jalen Green, but it backfired instead.

"There is no picture or video on this app that could set me off in comments the way pics and videos of me do to people. It's strange," the 39-year-old wrote on Instagram Story. "I be wanting to know does your man, bestie, mom, employer know you just be serial typing negative s**t on here? Self evaluation - what did that comment do for me?"

In a separate Story, Draya added, "Anyway. I simply don't look at things that upset me or could trigger me to spiral in a frenzy of negative thoughts." She then concluded, "Try that."

Hollywood Unlocked re-shared Draya's posts, prompting Instagram users to offer their two cents. "Deflecting because you publicly make silly decisions doesnt mean the bystanders who have an opinion are the problem," one person argued.

Another replied, "You are triggered because you are replying and reading comments.." A third penned, "She's definitely Bothered because why comment if you weren't, especially when you have a Newborn to focus on."

Even though her relationship with Jalen has had its fair share of public scrutiny, the couple's focus is clearly on their growing family. The media personality announced the birth of their first child together back in May.

"In 2021 on Mother's Day, my dad passed away. Since then, it's been extremely hard to celebrate that day without remembering the earth shattering phone call I received that morning," she penned. "Well, this Mother's Day was different. My daughter was safely brought into this world and I'm forever grateful for the new memories we all get to experience moving forward. Love + Light everyone."
