The 'Espresso' songstress has released her new single with its accompanying music video featuring her falling for a convict played by the British actor and real-life beau.

AceShowbiz - Sabrina Carpenter has unveiled the music video for her latest single, "Please, Please, Please", which features her real-life boyfriend, Barry Keoghan. The video, directed by Bardia Zeinali, begins with Carpenter in a holding cell after being arrested at the end of her previous video for "Espresso".
Carpenter falls for a convict played by Keoghan, and despite his repeated arrests for robbing banks and fighting, she continues to return to jail to collect him upon his release.
Carpenter says she intended to explore the idea of falling in love with a convict and feeling embarrassed by his actions. Keoghan's involvement in the video adds an authentic touch to the narrative.
The single itself was produced by Jack Antonoff and co-written with Amy Allen, showcasing Carpenter's signature conversational delivery and buoyant production. It serves as the second single from her upcoming album "Short n' Sweet", scheduled for release on August 23.
Carpenter and Keoghan have been linked since late 2023, and their relationship has been making headlines ever since. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Met Gala and have been spotted together at various events, including Coachella and Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour", where Sabrina served as an opening act as several stops.
