AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift becoming one of Marvel superheroes may not only be fans' daydream. Amid her sold-out "Eras" Tour and her hot dating life, the singer/actress is apparently seriously considering joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
If word on the Internet is to be trusted, the country-turned-pop superstar has had talks with Kevin Feige to discuss a potential MCU role. According to a new report by the trusted insider Daniel RPK, the Grammy winner has had "good meeting with Kevin Feige, and they are discussing a role in the MCU."
It's unknown what role Feige has to offer to Swift for a future project. There have been rumors that the 34-year-old star would make an appearance as Dazzler in "Deadpool & Wolverine", but it has never been confirmed.
"I'm going across the board. 'No comment' because that's a double whammy,. That's Taylor-related. And it's MCU-related," director Shawn Levy previously said when addressing the long-running speculation about Swift's possible cameo in "Deadpool 3". He added, "I'm no dummy. You're going to have to wait and see."
Ryan Reynolds was also coy when recently asked about Swift's potential involvement in his upcoming movie. "There's so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film. I saw one that was convinced that Elvis is in the movie," he joked, before stressing, "Surprises are the essence of Deadpool."
While everyone has been keeping their lips sealed about Swift's possible special appearance in "Deadpool & Wolverine", Disney has finally released an official synopsis of the movie. "Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date - 'Deadpool & Wolverine'," it reads. "A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to - F**k. Synopses are so f**king stupid."
Starring Hugh Jackman who reprises his role as Wolverine, the first Deadpool movie since it becomes part of MCU will be released in U.S. theaters on July 26 and available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD and premium screens everywhere.
