AceShowbiz - Fans are not impressed by "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Jackie Goldschneider's birthday tribute to co-star Teresa Giudice. After Jackie took to Instagram to share well-wishes for her new friend, people called her move desperate.

Shared on Saturday, May 18, the post included a picture of Teresa snuggling to Jackie. In the caption, Jackie wrote, "Happy birthday @teresagiudice! Anything I say will be dissected or loved or cheered or hated, so I'll just say happy birthday."

The Bravo celebrity continued, "I can't wait to celebrate and looking forward to many more good times ahead. Wishing you the best birthday." Teresa appreciated the lovely tribute as she wrote in a comment, "Thank you love you."

Fans, however, didn't think the post was genuine and many called Jackie out for her desperation. "Jackie, I know you want to be a main cast member again…but this friendship is not the way," one said. Another, meanwhile, labeled her "Fame hungry."

Someone else similarly commented, "You'll do anything to be back on the show." One added, "The smell of desperation."

Some others questioned why Jackie befriends Teresa despite their history. "Didn't she call you a stalker… and spread rumors your husband cheated on you?" one asked. "I do not understand or believe your friendship with Teresa. She has proven to be so hurtful towards you and your family and you still want to be her bestie. Friendships must mean different things to people who play out their lives on TV."

Back in November, Jackie opened up about her newfound relationship with Teresa at Bravocon. At the time, she called it "new, growing and mutually respectful … unexpected."

Meanwhile, in an interview with Us Weekly, the "Weight of Beautiful" author claimed that their friendship "grew organically." She explained, "It was like we were just talking at a party and then we were talking more, and then we started calling each other and then we hung out and started hugging. We like each other."
