AceShowbiz - Former "The Bachelorette" Charity Lawson has openly discussed her recent breast augmentation procedure in a candid TikTok video.
The reality star addressed concerns about her whereabouts by revealing that she had undergone the surgery. "I wanted to be honest with you guys and talk about what I was in recovery for," Lawson stated, acknowledging the speculation surrounding her absence.
Lawson explained that she decided to get breast implants after considering the procedure for a long time. "I wanted it to be very natural," she said, adding that she wanted the enhancement to be noticeable but not excessive.
"Even if I turn to the side a bit, it's still in proportion with my frame," she demonstrated, showing off her new chest. "I'm very petite and tiny, so I didn't want them to be too obvious."
Lawson revealed that she had the surgery performed by Dr. Barrett in Beverly Hills, California. She praised the results and described it as "the best decision I've made for myself in a hot minute."
The 28-year-old expressed her gratitude to fans for their support and encouraged those considering breast augmentation to pursue the procedure if they so desire. "If you're on the fence about it, don't be," she advised. "Jump it, do it."
Lawson also addressed the importance of being transparent about her experience. "I want to be the person that when you look at me, you see someone who's being transparent in the conversation and normalizing these experiences that we or so many of us go through, but we feel like we can't talk about ... out of fear or judgment," she noted.
While some fans applauded Lawson's honesty, others expressed disappointment with her decision. "I thought you were gonna say you got veneers. Your teeth look great! But love the honesty!" one fan joked. However, Lawson clarified that her teeth were the result of four years of braces.
Lawson was a contestant on the 27th season of "The Bachelor" before becoming the lead of the 20th season of "The Bachelorette" in 2023. She got engaged to Dotun Olubeko on the show's finale and later competed on "Dancing with the Stars."
