Taylor Swift Surprises Fans With 'The Bolter' Edition of 'Tortured Poets Department' and Bonus Track

When taking the stage in Melbourne, Australia, the 'All Too Well' hitmaker reveals that she has created a new edition, which features an exclusive bonus track, of her upcoming album.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift had another surprise for her fans, famously known as Swifties. Around two weeks after announcing that she has a new album titled "The Tortured Poets Department" coming soon, the "All Too Well" hitmaker revealed that she will also release "The Bolter" edition of the upcoming album.

On Friday, February 16, the 34-year-old superstar made the announcement when she took the stage at a venue in Melbourne, Australia for her "Eras Tour". In a video from the concert, it could be seen that she displayed the cover art of "The Bolter" edition.

Taylor also explained that there will be an exclusive bonus track titled "The Bolter" in the edition, prompting the packed audience members to cheer. "The Bolter" edition and "The Tortured Poets Department" are slated to be unleashed on April 19.

That same day, Taylor shared the exciting news on her Instagram account. In the caption of the new post, she penned, "File Name: The Bolter," adding a white heart emoji. She went on to spill, "Pre-order the new edition of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT with an exclusive bonus track for a limited time on my website now."

Along with the announcement, Taylor unveiled the artwork of "The Bolter" edition. In the cover art, she was photographed lying down on a bed with her long blonde hair cascading down her back. Another photo in the same post featured a new tagline that read, "You don't get to tell me about sad."

"The Bolter" edition was spilled around two weeks after Taylor broke the news about her eleventh studio album. During her acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 4, she said, "My brand new album comes out April 19th. It's called 'The Tortured Poets Department'. I'm gonna go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you! I love you!"

The album will feature a number of songs, including "The Tortured Poets Department", "My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys" and "Down Bad" on Side A. It also includes "Fortnight", which she created with Post Malone, and "Florida!!!" that she made with Florence and The Machine.
