AceShowbiz - Billy Ray Cyrus raised people's eyebrows with his latest Instagram post. The "Old Town Road" singer shared a cryptic message on his social media account amid his family rift with ex-wife Tish Cyrus and daughter Miley Cyrus.
On Tuesday, February 6, the country music star treated his followers to a picture of him and his new wife Firerose as they're cozying up in a field together. "Love is the answer," so he wrote in the caption.
The post came just two days after Miley appeared to snub her dad during her award speech at the 66th Grammy awards. The singer, who took home Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year awards for her song "Flowers", didn't acknowledge Biley while giving shout-outs to her mom Tish, sister Brandi Cyrus and boyfriend Maxx Morando.
"Thank you all so much," the former wife of Liam Hemsworth said, before jokingly added, "I don't think I forgot anyone, but I might've forgotten underwear. Bye!"
Miley further fueled the snub speculations when she didn't mention the "Achy Breaky Heart" crooner in her post-Grammys Instagram message on Monday. "To my mommy @tishcyruspurcell I love you more than anything in the entire universe," the Disney Channel alum penned. "My family, @brandicyrus thank you for being there like always, my godmother @dollyparton - I felt your fairy dust everywhere."
Miley and Billy started drifting apart following his divorce from Tish in 2022. "The divorce between her parents have put a strain on her relationship with her dad and it's been hard to connect with him in the last year," an insider told E! News. It was noted that Miley "has been closer to her mom Tish" and "doesn't have a relationship" with his new wife Firerose, whom he married four months ago.
Tish, meanwhile, recently got candid about her split from Billy during her appearance on "Call Her Daddy" podcast. "It was the worst thing, it was not good," the music manager said, adding that she had had a "complete psychological breakdown" during the split. "I could not eat, I could not sleep, I could not stop crying."
