Amy Robach Teases She May Celebrate Weight Loss From Dry January With Wine

The former 'Good Morning America' co-host spills she may treat herself to a glass of wine as she credits a combination of Dry January, daily runs and low carb diet for weight loss.

AceShowbiz - Amy Robach has opened up about the benefit of Dry January. Making use of social media, the former "Today" co-host credited not drinking alcohol throughout the whole month for her weight loss.

On Thursday, February 1, the 50-year-old TV personality gave details of her Dry January and teased that she may celebrate the end of it with a glass of wine. In the caption of her new Instagram post, she exclaimed, "Happy February 1st everyone!!!"

Amy went on to spill, "We decided to take inspiration from @hellahgood9 and run EVERY day of January at least 2 miles, and it felt so damn good," referring to herself and her beau T.J. Holmes. She then revealed, "We are going to continue it through February!"

Amy explained, "Dry January combined with daily runs and keeping my carb count low, meant I was able to shed some extra lbs I put on post NYC marathon. We are still doing our training runs following the @higdonmarathon four days a week and our rest days we just knock out 2 milers."

The former "Good Morning America" co-host further stated, "I may have a glass of wine tonight however," adding a thumbs-up emoji. She concluded the caption with a number of hashtags that read, "#welcomefebruary #halfmarathontraining #running #feelinggood."

In the same post, Amy shared a series of photos from her daily runs with her beau. In one of the snaps, she could be seen taking a selfie while running a distance in front of the 46-year-old journalist. The two appeared to have enjoyed the run as she flashed her big smile at the camera.

For the run, Amy kept her body warm in a yellow top under a long-sleeved black insulated jacket. She also donned a pair of black-and-gray sporty leggings, colorful sneakers as well as sunglasses as she covered her blonde hair with a black beanie. Meanwhile, T.J. wore a green-and-black sporty ensemble and a pair of black-and-white sneakers.

After sharing the result of Dry January, Amy received supportive messages from Instagram users. In the comments section of the post, one in particular wrote, "Stay fit we have to keep moving enjoy ur glass tonight with ur sweetheart," adding a slew of red heart emojis. Another joined in, "Enjoy the wine!!! You deserve it!!!"
