Based on Cixin Liu's best-selling book series 'The Three Body Problem', the highly anticipated series stars 'Game of Thrones' alum John Bradley as Jack Rooney.

AceShowbiz - "3 Body Problem" will be coming to Netflix in 2024. On Friday, November 10, the streaming giant announced the 2024 premiere date for the highly-anticipated sci-fi series in addition to unveiling extended first-look at the show.
In the new video, Jin Cheng (Jess Hong) can be seen showing John Bradley's Jack Rooney a metal device which intrigues Jack. "There's no screen. There's no headphone jack. There's not even a f**king charging port," he says.
Jack then suggests that it can be a beta tester, but Jin stresses that the device, which appears to be a virtual reality helmet, has much greater power. "This was indistinguishable from reality," she tells him.
When Jack puts the helmet on, he is instantly taken to a desert as he wears what seems to be a period Chinese garment. There is also an ancient pyramid far at his back. Jack can't help but be fascinated by the new experience until a woman (Sea Shimooka) suddenly appears from behind, slicing her sword.
"3 Body Problem" is based on Cixin Liu's best-selling book series "The Three Body Problem". The official logline reads, "A young woman's fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unflinching detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity's history."
The upcoming series will also star Benedict Wong, Eiza Gonzalez, Jovan Adepo, Alex Sharp, Saamer Usmani, Liam Cunningham, Rosalind Chao, Jonathan Pryce, Marlo Kelly, Ben Schnetzer and Zine Tseng.
"Game of Thrones" executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo ("The Terror: Infamy", "True Blood") serve as showrunners in addition to writing the series. They also executive produce alongside Bernadette Caulfield, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, Rosamund Pike, Robie Uniacke, Lin Qi, Zhao Jilong, Fenfen Xu and Xiasong Gao.
"3 Body Problem" will arrive on March 21, 2024 on Netflix.
