Prior to her alleged romance with NFL star Travis Kelce, the 'All Too Well' hitmaker had been involved in romantic relationships with some famous stars, who are believed to have inspired some of her songs.

AceShowbiz - Throughout her career, Taylor Swift has been involved in romantic relationships with many types of men, most of whom are not less famous than she is. While she doesn't always openly talk about her love life, being one of the biggest superstars on Earth doesn't help keep her relationship out of the public eye.

Most of the time, the Grammy winner even turned some of her best and worst memories with her former boyfriends into songs. Those include her hit titled "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)", which is believed by her fans to have been inspired by one of her exes.

Following the release of "1989 (Taylor's Version)" that features songs speculated to be about yet another of her famous ex-boyfriends, AceShowbiz has listed Swift's famous exes and which songs she allegedly wrote about them.

1. Joe Jonas

Swift started dating her fellow singer Joe Jonas back in July 2008. A few months later, the songstress and the Jonas Brothers singer called it quits. During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in November 2008, she claimed that he broke up with her over the phone.

In the same interview, Swift candidly revealed that her song titled "Forever and Always" is about Jonas. On the track itself, she sings, "Was I out of line?/ Did I say something way too honest, made you run and hide/ Like a scared little boy/ I looked into your eyes/ Thought I knew you for a minute, now I'm not so sure."

2. Taylor Lautner

Less than one year after her breakup with Jonas, Swift moved on with actor Taylor Lautner. Back in fall 2009, the singer and the "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part II" actor were in a romantic relationship for three months. At that time, he was at the height of his "Twilight" stardom.

One year following her split from Lautner, Swift released a song titled "Back to December", which is believed to be about the former couple's love story. Swifties speculated that Swift mentioned Lautner's characteristics, including "tan skin" and "sweet smile" on the song. Not being ashamed of his past fling with the pop star, Lautner himself confirmed that the track is about him during a Facebook Live back in August 2016.

3. John Mayer

Swift was involved in a romance with singer John Mayer in December 2009. Around two months later, in February 2010, the Grammy-winning artist and the "New Light" singer called off their romance. She was 19 years old when they dated, while Mayer was 32 years old.

That same year, Swift released a track titled "Dear John". On the single, she mentioned a guy named "John," who is much older than she is, prompting Swifties to assume that she is referring to the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" crooner. She sings on the song, "Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone/ Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?"

4. Jake Gyllenhaal

In October 2010, Swift made headlines with news of her dating actor Jake Gyllenhaal. At that time, Us Weekly broke the exciting news in a cover story published in December 2010. One month later, the outlet revealed that they were no longer together, writing that she was "really upset and hurt" by his alleged one-sided decision.

Around two years later, Swift released a song, which is reportedly about Gyllenhaal, titled "All Too Well". On the song, which she rereleased in 2021, she discusses a trip in "autumn," seemingly referring to the season when she and the "Brokeback Mountain" star were spotted together. She is also believed to have mentioned his sister and actress Maggie Gyllenhaal on it. "And I, left my scarf there at your sister's house/ And you've still got it in your drawer even now," she sings.

Swift first sparked romance rumors with Harry Styles back in November 2012. The two were seen together during "The X Factor" rehearsals at the time. The then-pair were later spotted hanging out several times, including one during their getaway to the Caribbean. Following the trip, they reportedly went separate ways in January 2013.

In 2014, Taylor dropped a track titled "Out of the Woods". On it, she sings, "Looking at it now, last December/ We were built to fall apart, then fall back together/ Your necklace hanging from my neck." The verse led Swifties to think that the song is about the former One Direction singer as she was spotted wearing his paper airplane necklace during a public outing. "Two paper airplanes flying, flying, flying," she adds.

6. Calvin Harris

Two years following her split from Styles, Swift met Calvin Harris at the Elle Style Awards in February 2015 after being introduced by singer Ellie Goulding. The Pennsylvania native and the Scottish DJ went Instagram official in April that same year before making their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards in May. The two decided to call off their relationship in March 2016.

More than one year later, Swift released a track titled "Gorgeous" that is speculated to have been inspired by Harris, who is 6 years older than her. Swifties believed that the "Cats" actress mentioned her and Harris' age gap as well as his career on the song. "I've got a boyfriend/ He's older than us/ He's in the club doing I don't know what," she sings.

7. Tom Hiddleston

One month later, Hiddleston confirmed that he and Swift "are together." However, on September 6 that same year, it was reported that the couple had "an amicable split."

In 2022, Swift dropped a song titled "Midnight Rain", which is believed to be about Hiddleston. On the song, she sings, "Jumping off things in the ocean," seemingly referring to their beach outing when he was seen wearing an "I [heart] T.S." top. She also sings, "He wanted a bride, I was making my own name," prompting Swifties to think that the track is indeed about Hiddleston as he got engaged to actress Zawe Ashton following his split from Swift.

In 2019, when Swift was still together with Alwyn, she released a single titled "London Boy", which is believed to have been inspired by Alwyn, the British actor. On the track, she sings, "Darling, I fancy you/ Took me back to Highgate," referring to a suburb in North London, where she and Alwyn were pictured hanging out several times. In April 2023, it was revealed that they called it quits after almost 5 years together.
