When sharing the announcement at the 2023 Rolling Loud Miami festival, the 'SICKO MODE' rapper also declares that his show at the Pyramids of Giza will still go on despite previously getting pushback.

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II) has finally confirmed the release date of his highly-anticipated album, "Utopia". The rapper declared that the set will arrive on Friday, July 28 along with a new movie called "Circus Maximus".

The 32-year-old made the announcement during his headlining set at the 2023 Rolling Loud Miami festival on Saturday, July 22. At the event, the emcee premiered the trailer for the upcoming film on the big screens.

Travis will celebrate the album and movie releases by performing at the historic site of the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Though the show got pushback from Egypt's Musicians' Syndicate, its promoter Live Nation insisted that the plan is still going.

Travis himself promised fans at Rolling Loud that he will see them in Egypt. The "SICKO MODE" hitmaker previously sent an open letter sent to authorities in the country, pleading that they won't cancel the event.

"I am writing to you to address the blatant inaccurate reports that have apparently lead to permits being paused for my concert scheduled for July 28, 2023 at the Giza Pyramids," Travis kicked off his letter, which was addressed to "whom it may concern." He added, "My understanding is that the Egyptians Musicians Syndicate took this action in response to bot generated fake information regarding my concerts and character."

"(All anyone with a grasp for modern technology and social media has to do is click on the user profile of these accounts to see that these are not real people,)" he continued. "Specifically, they referred to 'strange rituals' that 'contradict the cultural identity of the Egyptian people.' "

Travis concluded, "Nothing could be further from the truth. My only intent with live performances is to unite people around the world over a shared bond in music. As a matter of fact, I just successfully played in an incredibly conservative Saudi Arabia in April for a crowd of 70,000 fans and there was no issue, hiccup or complication whatsoever."
