The 32-year-old actress plays Katniss Everdeen in the first four 'The Hunger Games' films, which are based on the young-adult dystopian book series of the same name by Suzanne Collins.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence isn't done with Katniss Everdeen. In fact, the actress declared that she's "totally" open to reprising her role in "The Hunger Games" franchise if she has a chance to do so.

The 32-year-old made the revelation when speaking to Variety. Asked whether she would play the girl on fire once again in new movies, she exclaimed, "Oh, my God - totally!"

"If Katniss ever could ever come back into my life, 100 percent," the Oscar winner continued in the Friday, June 9 interview. "My producing partner just clutched her heart."

Jennifer, who sat down with Variety to promote her new R-rated coming-of-age comedy, "No Hard Feelings", previously admitted that the success of "The Hunger Games" made her lose "control" of herself and her career. "I think I lost a sense of control," she said when speaking as part of the London Film Festival's "Screen Talk" series in October 2022.

"Between 'The Hunger Games' coming out and winning the Oscar [for 2012's 'Silver Linings Playbook'], I became such a commodity that I felt like every decision was a big, big group decision," she added. "When I reflect now, I can't think of those following years, [because there was] just a loss of control."

Jennifer had a major role in the first four "The Hunger Games" films. Meanwhile, its prequel, "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes", will have Rachel Zegler and Tom Blyth in the leading roles.

The upcoming film is set to hit the theatre on November 17. The cast will also include Hunter Schafer, Peter Dinklage, Viola Davis, Jason Schwartzman and Rachel's boyfriend, Josh Andres Rivera.
