AceShowbiz - A fan of Taylor Swift had such an unpleasant experience attending one of "The Eras Tour" concerts. A woman named Andrea likened Taylor's Nashville show to Travis Scott (II)'s deadly Astroworld Festival due to its chaos.
"I love Taylor Swift with all my heart. I'm one of her biggest fans," Andrea said in a TikTok video. "But I felt uncomfortable, unsafe and terrified at some points."
Andrea, who had VIP tickets, claimed fans were forced to shelter in place for more than three hours due to bad weather. She said she had to go "underneath the [Nissan Stadium] seats where the concessions are."
"At first, it was a little crowded, but it was fine. But for three and a half of those four hours, I was standing shoulder to shoulder with nowhere to go," she explained. "I'm 5 feet tall, so everyone was towering over me."
"It got really tight in there. I literally thought it was going to be, like, another Travis Scott fatality," the TikTok user stated. "I've never been so scared for my life. I couldn't leave. I couldn't move. There was nowhere to go."
There were 10 concertgoers lost their lives after a crowd surge at the Astroworld Festival on November 5, 2021. According to the Medical Examiner's Office, the victims died from "compression asphyxia" as their lungs were crushed in the stampede at the disastrous concert.
While Taylor has yet to respond to her TikToker's story, other fans called her out for comparing the show to the Astroworld tragedy. "No way she compared it to the Travis Scott concert," one person argued, while another added, "as someone who was actually at astroworld 2021, she could literally never imagine what that was like. as soon as she made the comment I had to stop."
