More than a year after going through a stillbirth, the reality TV personality candidly admits that she has 'a huge void to fill' as she waits for the arrival of her baby.

AceShowbiz - Maya Vander is expecting to add another child into her family of four. More than one year after she went through a stillbirth, the "Selling Sunset" alum came clean about her being nine-months pregnant, and admitted her past experience left her with concerns and fears.
Breaking the happy news when speaking to The US Sun, the 40-year-old TV personality announced, "I am 9 months pregnant." She went on to divulge the gender of her upcoming child. "And I'm expecting a baby girl any day now," she gushed.
Though excited to welcome her bundle of joy, Maya did confess that her past got her worried. "It's exciting, but also this time around I have more fears and more concerns given the last circumstances," she explained. "I kept quiet on social media because I lost a baby when I was nine months pregnant in the past."
Elsewhere in the interview, Maya addressed questions why she was still trying to have another baby despite having gone through painful miscarriage and stillbirth. "I know it's hard to understand why I would bother to get pregnant again, but I had a huge void to fill. I stayed calm and positive," she reasoned.
Despite the losses, Maya claimed she could still be considered lucky. "I'm very lucky and thankful for my kids," she pointed out. "It was just something that was missing. No one expects to lose a child and give birth to a stillborn." She also hoped that her personal experience "will inspire other women going through any loss."
Maya lost a baby boy named Mason in December 2021 when she was 38 weeks pregnant. In late 2022, she paid a tribute to her late son by posting in Instagram, "Today exactly a year ago I marked one year since I lost my son Mason at 38 weeks (9 months) and had a vaginal stillbirth."
"I wasn't sure how this day will be. He would have been one years old and possibly taking his first step," she continued mourning. "I still have questions on why?? He was a perfect baby and the autopsy report came back with no conclusion. Dr Kliman from Yale university looked at my placenta and was almost sure the cord was compressed. Basically bad luck."
Maya's bad luck did not stop there. Around six months after her heartbreaking stillbirth experience, she suffered a miscarriage. She was, at the time, 10 weeks pregnant.
