While Samantha Markle disses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 'toxic' relationship, Meghan's father Thomas Markle makes a 'deathbed plea' to his daughter in a trailer for an upcoming interview.

AceShowbiz - As King Charles' coronation is coming closer, Meghan Markle's family becomes the subject of an interview to air on an Australian news station. A new trailer for the upcoming bombshell interview has been released, seeing Meghan's sister dissing the Duchess' relationship with her husband Prince Harry.

Samantha Markle, who recently had her defamation lawsuit against her half-sister tossed out by a Florida judge, says in the trailer that Meghan and Harry are "very unhealthy for each other." She claims, "It's a toxic relationship."

Elsewhere in the trailer, Samantha claims that the former "Suits" actress would still be a waitress if it wasn't for Dad." Meanwhile, footage of Meghan as homecoming queen at her high school plays in the trailer.

"The world has never seen Meghan like this," a narrator declares as the Duchess of Sussex is also seen dancing in what appears to be a recital and waving at a camera, all from what are clearly home videos.

"Treasured memories, secret tapes and home truths are all coming out," the narrator adds, while Samantha, her father Thomas Markle and brother Thomas Markle Jr. can be seen looking emotional while sitting together watching some of those tapes.

Meghan's dad Thomas, who suffered a stroke last year and is seemingly in poor health, struggles to speak as he makes what the show calls a "deathbed plea" to Meghan. He asks in the video, "How can I fix this?"

Meanwhile, Thomas Jr. tells the interviewer, "We're not going away. This is going to change everything." A "Prince Andrew bombshell" is also teased in the trailer.

The interview will air on Australia's 7NEWS "Spotlight" on Sunday, April 30 at 8:30 P.M.

Meghan has been confirmed not to attend King Charles' coronation on May 6, which happens to be the same day of her son Prince Archie's birthday. The palace said in a statement, "The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."
