AceShowbiz - Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish are now legally single. The exes finalized their divorce amid rumors she's engaged to her current boyfriend, Justin Long.
Kate and Michael's divorce was finalized on Wednesday, March 15, two years after their split. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the former spouses waived spousal support and simply divided their marital property.
It was unveiled that the "Superman Return" actress got properties she owns in both Pasadena and Montana. Her ex-husband, meanwhile, kept a Montana house right next door to hers in Montana.
The news arrived after Kate sparked rumors that she has gotten engaged to Justin. When they walked the red carpet at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party earlier this month, the 40-year-old star was seen with a dazzling diamond on her ring finger.
Kate then thanked her "dream date" for the evening and made a notable comment to her manicurist Ashlie Johnson as she shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram post of her getting ready for the event. "@ashlie_johnson the most important manicure to date," she penned.
Ashlie shared photos of the couple on the red carpet and noted, "The smiles on these two [heart eye emoji] With some new bling to boot!! [diamond, heart hands and champagne emojis] (sic)."
Kate, in the meantime, also shared a carousel of pictures of her and her partner at the bash lovingly looking at each other and another of Justin helping to tidy up the hem of her dress for the photos.
"Thank you for having us @vanityfair truth be told, we were a little nervous because walking a red carpet can be kinda strange (no matter how many times you do it)… and this is such a big one! Do you know what makes everything better? Being with your best friend," she captioned the post. "You light up my world @justinlong. I'm so lucky it's you."
