The reality TV star/singer claps back at her group member after the latter accuses the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' alum of being jealous of her group member singing lead.

AceShowbiz - Kandi Burruss is setting the record straight. The Xscape singer fired back at teammate LaTocha Scott after the latter accused "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum of being jealous of her group member singing lead.
The Bravo personality addressed the allegation that "I made it so hard for her, and that's the reason why she had to go solo, and said that I was so jealous of her singing lead." She then pointed out that she's a lead singer in most tracks in the group's first album, "Hummin' comin' at 'cha."
"I have a lead verse in every song in the first album except for 'Leave on My Mind'. To be clear," Kandi stressed. The reality TV star later moved on to Xscape's second album "Off the Hook" as she also revealed she sang a lead on some most songs.
Kandi then fumed, "Please tell me! That was two albums, two Platinum albums. The second album, there are only two songs that I don't have a lead verse. So, what are you talking about?"
Prior to this, LaTocha alleged in an episode of Bravo's "SWV x XSCAPE: Queens of R&B" that Kandi wasn't happy with her singing lead in a lot of songs. "When it comes to Kandi and I, we had issues with me singing. And although she never wants to say that, everyone knows that to be true," LaTocha claimed.
Elsewhere in the episode, LaTocha also said, "I know back in the day, in 1998, I said I wanted to do a solo project. I think everybody was happy for me, except for Kandi. She was just like, 'You're not coming back.' " She continued, "For some reason, my project got shelved and then within that same timeframe, Kandi got signed and her album came out. It was a little odd, the timing of it all."
In response to that, Kandi fired back at LaTocha on Twitter. "God's favor ain't fair! How did my album have anything to do with her album not coming out?…. I was on Columbia records & she was on SosoDef. Please ask Jermaine why your album didn't come out & stop blaming me," she tweeted.
