AceShowbiz - Keanu Reeves met a bunch of overzealous fans at the premiere of "John Wick: Chapter 4". One of them even proposed to the actor, but he responded to it with humor.
The event took place at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas on Monday, March 13. After Keanu revealed that he kept John's watch and wedding ring from the previous movies, someone from the audience shouted, "I'll marry you!"
According to Variety, the 58-year-old Hollywood star replied, "Yeah, be careful what you wish for."
Another fan, meanwhile, asked if he ever age. He then answered the question, "Yeah man, I age... I really-I age. It's happening, man."
Jokes aside, Keanu has been dating visual artist Alexandra Grant. The two met in 2009 at a dinner party and they later collaborated on the books "Ode To Happiness and Shadows", for which the artist provided visual art and Keanu wrote poetry.
Alexandra is a Swarthmore College graduate who uses language and exchanges with writers as a source for imagery in sculpture, painting, drawing and video. They also have publishing house X Artists' Books.
The twosome started dating in 2018, but they did not go public with their relationship until November 2019 when they attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala Presented By Gucci in Los Angeles together as a couple. In 2020, when Keanu filmed "The Matrix Resurrections" in Berlin, Germany, Alexandra joined him in the country, where they reportedly stayed in a rented home.
In March 2022, Keanu sparks speculation that he might be ready to pop the question to Alexandra. At that time, he was spotted browsing rings at a jewelry store at Irene Neuwirth on Melrose Place in the West Hollywood area.
