AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus' new song "Muddy Feet" has sparked theories among fans. Smilers believe that the former Disney darling hints at Liam Hemsworth's alleged infidelity on the track.
"And you smell like perfume that I didn't purchase/ Now I know why you've been closing the curtains/ Get the f**k out of my house," she sings on the Sia Furler-featured tune, which appears on her newly-released album, "Endless Summer Vacation".
The lyrics also include, "I don't know/ Who the hell you think you're messin' with/ Get the f**k out of my house with that s**t/ Get the f**k out of my life with that s**t." In the chorus, meanwhile, the musician insinuates that her ex-husband kept "comin' 'round with [his] muddy feet" and that she would have to "do [something] 'bout it."
Fans have since shared their theories on Twitter. "Did Miley just confirm that Liam cheated on her multiples times at her house on #MuddyFeet omg," one person asked, while another declared, "miley cyrus confirmed liam hemsworth cheated."
A third, meanwhile, assumed, "There are 12 tracks and a demo on Miley's new album, representing the twelve women Liam cheated on her with, and herself, which he treated like a practice run." Someone else wondered, "How TF Miley stayed with Liam that long when all he did was cheat?! I don't understand."
Miley previously threw shade at Liam by releasing the album's lead single, "Flowers", on his 33rd birthday on January 13. Fans also speculated that "Flowers" is all about her failed marriage to Liam.
In addition to the cryptic release date, the lyrics and chorus melody of "Flowers" eerily mirror Bruno Mars' popular song "When I Was Your Man", which Liam allegedly dedicated to Miley at their wedding in 2018.
