In a new episode of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City', the 49-year-old reveals that she tried to take her life after Angie and Chris Harrington used her name to troll on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - Online trolling was too much for Jen Shah. In a new episode of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City", the 49-year-old revealed that she tried to take her life after Angie Harrington and Chris Harrington used her name for their Instagram account amid her fraud scandal.

"I tried to commit suicide and my husband had to take me to the hospital," she said to co-star Whitney Rose. She added that "the whole Angie Harrington and Chris Harrington [thing] affected me so much that I tried to take my life."

Amid Jen's fraud trial, Chris created an anonymous Instagram account which was called "shahexposed" to slam other Bravo stars, especially Jen's frenemy Lisa Barlow. Jen blasted the Harringtons for using her last name to make it seem like she's involved while she's not.

Prior to this, Jen shared that she started taking antidepressants after she was accused of scamming millions of dollars from people.

Back in July, the reality TV star, who initially maintained her innocence for months, pled guilty to the fraud charges as she was accused of running a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted hundreds of elderly people. She also admitted to "wire fraud" and knowingly offering services with little to no value to people "over the age of 55."

After her sentencing date was pushed past the holidays, Jen is now scheduled to learn her fate on January 6, 2023. She could face up to 14 years behind bars and may pay up to $9.5 million in restitution for the crimes.

As for her future on "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake", nothing has been confirmed by Andy Cohen recently hinted that she won't be returning for another show. "Once we wrapped [season 3 and] she pled guilty, I think that was kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there," the executive producer said during BravoCon 2022. "But I hope to sit down with her and talk to her at some point on camera because I have a lot of questions for her."
