Last month, a few days before Todd and Julie were sentenced to 19 total years in prison for bank fraud and tax evasion, the 16-year-old boy was involved in a terrifying car accident.

AceShowbiz - Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley's son has finally offered an update on his health following a terrifying car accident. In a new interview with her sister Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley said that he's doing just "fine," slamming reports claiming he's badly injured.

"I'm fine, the trucks not fine but I am fine," the 16-year-old explained in the Wednesday, December 7 episode of Savannah's "Unlocked" podcast. He continued, "But it was bad, it was really bad."

Despite Savannah saying the teen was "beat up" after the accident, Grayson cleared the air over rumors he was seriously injured. "They made it sound like I died," he joked about the news reports, "It was like, 'Grayson Chrisley badly injured in a car wreck' and I was like, 'Bro I'm fine.' "

"I posted a picture of me in the gym. Do you know how many DMs I got that were like, 'Surprised you're not still in the hospital,' " the "Chrisley Knows Best" star told the listeners. "I'm like, 'I was there for, like, four hours.' "

Late last month, Savannah said that Grayson's car accident made her "heart sank." She said in the November 29 episode of her podcast, "He was on the interstate. I think another car was, like, weaving in and out of traffic. I think everyone in the situation just overcorrected because of this one car."

"His car's totaled. It was bad," the Sassy by Savannah founder added. "He made it sounds like a fender-bender. And y'all, when I tell you the whole front of his truck [was destroyed]. Like, every airbag deployed. When I showed up and saw it, literally my heart sank because, for anyone that knows, Grayson has always had a special place in my heart."

"It could've been worse. So thank the good Lord above," Savannah continued. "Needless to say, we've had a lot going on in our household. But we're getting through it, we're getting through it. We try to find the silver lining in everything. It's hard."

Grayson was involved in a car crash on November 12, shortly before his parents Todd and Julie were sentenced for bank fraud and tax evasion. "Grayson was driving his Ford F-150 on I-65 in Nashville last Saturday around 5:30 PM when he drove into the back of a Dodge pickup truck that was stopped in heavy standstill traffic," police told TMZ.

"He could not recall anything about the accident, possibly due to a potential head injury. He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital," the authorities said at the time. "The driver of the truck Grayson rear-ended suffered injuries as well, but refused medical attention."

Then on November 21, Grayson's dad Todd was officially sentenced to 12 years in prison and his mom was given seven years in jail. The couple is expected to serve 16 months of probation as well. The sentencing hugely affected their TV shows as "Chrisley Knows Best" and its spin-off "Growing Up Chrisley" were all canceled. The family also lost their third TV show, "Love Limo".

Following the sentencing, Todd and Julie vowed to appeal the decision. Explaining that the reality stars are "optimistic about the road ahead," their attorney Alex Little told PEOPLE, "Yesterday was a difficult day for the Chrisley family. But Todd and Julie are people of faith, and that faith gives them strength as they appeal their convictions. Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid."
