In September, the 'Save Your Tears' crooner was forced to cancel his show after suddenly losing his voice, prompting disappointed fans to boo him while he's on stage.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd isn't letting his fans get upset. The "Save Your Tears" hitmaker has returned to Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium for a make-up performance two months after he abruptly ended the "After Hours Til Dawn" show due to losing his voice.

The 32-year-old chart-topping musician stepped back onto the stage eight weeks after tearfully cutting his concert short due to vocal problems mid-performance. During the Saturday, November 26 show, he joked with fans and claimed they were "back at the scene of the crime."

"We're back at the scene of the crime, it looks like," The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, said. The Canadian singer added, "How's it sounding tonight? Sounding good? I love you. The party's just started, baby. Let's go."

The Weeknd was forced to cancel his September 3 show in Los Angeles after suddenly losing his voice, prompting disappointed fans to boo him while he was on stage. The "Blinding Lights" singer decided to stop his gig after performing just three songs.

He then told the crowd at SoFi Stadium, "I don't want to stop the show. But I can't give you the concert I want to give you right now…," adding that he would "make sure everybody will get your money back."

"But I'll do a show real soon for you guys... I want to come out and personally apologize, and not tweet it or Instagram it or whatever," The Weeknd pointed out. Before exiting the stage, he declared, "You know how much this kills me right now. I'm sorry. I love you guys. Thank you so much."

The Weeknd later doubled down on his apology on Twitter and Instagram Story. Over a black screen, he lamented, "My voice went out during the first song and I'm devastated. Felt it go and my heart dropped. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I'll make it up to you with a new date."

Three days later, The Weeknd let his fans know that he's recovering and ready to continue the tour. "doctor says my voice is safe and with rest i'll be solid and able to bring the show my TORONTO fans are waiting for," he wrote at the time. "LA date is being worked out soon. thank you SO much for all the love and understanding that's come my way. i love you all so much… XO."
