AceShowbiz - August Alsina continues to stir up the speculation about his sexuality. Seemingly enjoying the frenzy over his apparent coming out confession, the R&B singer has shared an NSFW tweet about his relationship with Zu.
On Thursday, November 24, which happened to be Thanksgiving, Zu posted some new pictures of him and August hanging out together. The two twinned in black outfits as they posed at what looks like a cafe and took a mirror selfie.
Sharing both photos on Twitter, Zu, who is also an R&B artist, captioned it, "2 better than 1." A fan then suggestively asked, "@AugustAlsina y'all need a third?" Catching wind of the offer, August retweeted the fan's post.
Meanwhile, social media users continue debating if August was trolling or not with his apparent coming out confession. "They are actual BLOOD Brothers!" one person who doubted that August and Zu are an item claimed.
"That's his brother he's trolling y'all...," another similarly suggested. A third went on accusing August of clout chasing, "When your career is cold AF, you resort to such antics."
Another who begged to differ wrote, "Y'all saw that hug and y'all thought it was his brother ?????" Also disagreeing with the skeptics, someone wondered, "Why do people think it's his brother tho ?" Another pointed out, "When I see them kiss I'll believe it."
Someone else tried to explain why August might have referred to the man as his "brother" before, "My friend has a boyfriend. He called him his brother while In public until he was comfortable enough with his sexuality. Y'all don't don't want August to be gay so bad That's ain't his brother."
August gushed about finding "a love that feels limitless" on VH1's "The Surreal Life" earlier this week. "I would like a love that feels limitless," he said on the reality show. "And then what do you know? Love showed up, but in a new way."
"I want to share that and really honor the person that I love and that loves me back and teaching me so much about love and healing," the 30-year-old star continued. "I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like."
A man, who has been identified as Zu, then entered the frame and sat down next to August. The two said "I love you" while sharing an embrace in front of the camera.
