The footwear brand, which recently dropped Ye amid his anti-Semitic scandal, will reportedly continue to sell the 'Jesus Is King' artist's existing Yeezy product designs using its own branding.

AceShowbiz - The whole drama surrounding Kanye West continues to get people talking. If a new report is to be believed, Adidas, which recently dropped Ye amid his anti-Semitic scandal, will reportedly continue selling the rapper's existing Yeezy product designs using its own branding.

Analysts at Morgan Stanley and RBC Capital Markets stated on Tuesday, October 25 that the footwear company will start selling the products solely under the companies brand at the top of the new year. "Looking ahead, on our understanding, the company will not sell any Yeezy-branded products and all Yeezy products will be branded under the Adidas brand," analyst Edouard Aubin said in a statement to clients.

Upon learning of the news, Internet users were not happy with Adidas' alleged move. "So you don't want to be associated with him, which is fair…. But you still want to use his designs ? Lmao," a person criticized Adidas in an Instagram comment.

Slamming the brand, another user said, "Adidas corny af. Nobody in the culture wears that s**t unless its Yeezys the you basically wanna shun the man then rob his ideas.. Ye off the chains but he right on some s**t and this is proof."

Someone also insinuated that Adidas' sales hugely relies on Ye's Yeezy, saying, "Nah nobody was buying Adidas like that before Ye. We good, we going back to Nike fam." Echoing the sentiment, a user noted, "Thats straight up theft. Like it or not, Ye designed them and saved that company from bankruptcy..."

Accusing the brand of racism, someone wrote, "Says a lot….. smh I really hate racism in all disguises." A user also started to think that the "Donda" artist's claims about "Jewish mafia" were true, commenting, "We don't care! We will not support that! White jews still stealing from "Black" people! This is what he was saying on Drink Champs as well. But that didn't go viral… what he said about George Floyd (which I don't agree with) went viral! And whole controls he media? White jews! #message."

Adidas announced its decision to end their partnership with Ye in a statement on Tuesday. "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness," the brand, which launched his first pair of Air Yeezy sneakers with the shoe brand in 2013, said.

"After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. Adidas will stop the Adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect," it continued.
