Many social media users call out the former 'Black Ink Crew' star after he says the incident 'basically cost [him] a lot' in an interview with 107.5 WCGI host Charmaine.

AceShowbiz - Ceaser Emanuel has regretted abusing his dogs. However, the former "Black Ink Crew" star faced more backlash after expressing his remorse because he said the incident has cost him a lot of money.

"I regret it 100%. Like, sometimes I wish I can take that night back but you can't take nothing back," Ceaser said when speaking to 107.5 WCGI host Charmaine. "And that's the messed up part about it because in my two seconds of anger I lost it."

"And honestly, I was going through a lot. I don't want to make no excuses but that was during Covid, situation with my daughter just happened, my mind was going all over the place," he explained. "You feel me? I didn't know how much stuff I was going through until after this dog situation I got therapy."

Ceaser went on to note that he was still dealing with the loss of his "loved ones" when the incident happened, including his fiancees. He added, "And being on TV sometimes you just get caught up that you don't really get to mend anything that you go through. So you walking around with wounds that's just open and with you trying to be a man, say 'men ain't supposed to cry, men ain't supposed to do this.' "

"You not understanding you doing more damage to yourself than anything. And I feel like that moment just defined that I needed help. And that's what I did," he continued. "That s**t shouldn't have happened. I'm more intelligent and I'm more mature than that. And that couple seconds basically cost me a lot."

People didn't sympathize though. Many called out Ceaser, with one arguing, "He regrets it because it cost him money. Not because of his actions…Know the difference. He haven't learned his lesson." Another commented, "So you sorry for the opportunities you lost not for actually abusing the dogs… got it."

Someone else fumed, "Money?? Opportunities?! How abt being regretful because u caused an innocent animal trauma BOZO." A different individual added, "His remorse is bout his money lost not the dog. He don't care what he did."

Ceaser was fired from "Black Ink Crew New York" after a clip that saw him allegedly abusing a dog went viral. The said footage, which seemed to be captured by a neighbor's Ring security camera, showed him putting a dog in a cage and then kicking the cage along with the dog down a hill. He's also seen scaring the dog out of the house and kicking the dog, before proceeding to hit the dog with a foldable chair multiple times.
