AceShowbiz - Madonna has something new for fans. After releasing a new remix of her hit "Hung Up" titled "Hung Up on Tokischa" on Friday, September 16, the Queen of Pop unleashed its official music video which shows her being infatuated with the Dominican femcee.
The visuals finds Madonna and Tokischa getting touchy-feely during a house party in the largely Dominican neighborhood of Washington Heights. The twosome even blows smoke in each other's mouths before making out.
"Tokischa, que lo que?," the 64-year-old "Material Girl" hitmaker says in the clip, which is Dominican slang for, "What's up?" The female rapper later raps her fiery bar. "I'm going to bajo mundo with Madonna for a party," she adds in Spanish.
Earlier this month, it was unveiled that the filming of the "Hung Up on Tokischa" music video was shut down by police after they received noise complaints. Car speakers that Madonna and Tokischa used to play music reportedly created "loudness and craziness" that disturbed multiple neighbors.
The New York Police Department confirmed to Page Six that at approximately 11:39 P.M. the night prior, they received "several" noise complaints at the location of the shoot. However, the police spokesperson noted that the "condition was corrected" and "no summonses were issued."
A separate source also claimed that Madonna, Tokischa, the dancers and film crew continued with the shoot somewhere else indoors after police left. It's said that it was the "La Isla Bonita" singer's idea to shoot the video in Washington Heights "surrounded by the culture" of Tokischa's Dominican roots since their song is part of the "Dembow" genre, which is popular in the Caribbean country.
OF the remix, it serves as Madonna's first new release since she unleashed her album "Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones" last month. The studio recored peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart.
