AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian has faced backlash after her young daughter shared a makeup video on TikTok. Many online users blamed the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star for letting Penelope have a makeup routine while she's still 10.
Penelope, whom the reality star shares with her former partner Scott Disick, posted the video on a joint TikTok page with her mom on Friday, August 26. In the 14-second footage, she could be seen layering on concealer, eyeshadow and lip gloss. She ended the clip by showing off her outfit of the day.
Unfortunately, many people were not impressed by the video. One person in particular argued on Twitter, "This is more than a little girl playing with makeup- this is a child trying to compete with all the other women around her: 'Looks & body is the most important thing in life' ..#MadeToGrowUpWayTooSoon."
Another added, "I wonder when she’ll start following in her aunts’ footsteps and have plastic surgery to look like Kim." A third sighed, "Oh god... it's spreading to the children. Someone call the CDC!"
"At her age she shouldn't be conturing and all that yea lipstick here and there but really?" a fourth individual chimed in. "SMH poor thing by the time she's 18 she's gonna be with implants looking like she's 30 smh."
Back in November 2021, it was unveiled that Penelope's page on the video-sharing platform has been disabled due to "multiple Community Guidelines violations." According to Page Six, the girl created an account under the username @blah445087. Her bio reportedly read "Kourtney-Penelope" and "account managed by an adult."
The outlet claimed that Penelope's alleged account was still active on Sunday night, November 21. However, the account was shut down on Monday, possibly due to TikTok's policy that users must be at least 13 years old to join.
