Megan Thee Stallion Rants Against Her Label for Allegedly Leaking Her Music

The Grammy-winning artist, who has been engaged in court battles with 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford, voices her frustration on Instagram Story and Twitter.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion is seemingly tired of fighting with her label. Recently, the "WAP" hitmaker launched into a public rant after her label 1501 Certified Entertainment allegedly leaked her music.

"I can't catch a break my label hate me and my s**t always leak [crying emoji] at this point invite the hotties to the studio and shoots," the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram Story. She then turned to Twitter to voice her frustration.

"Why continue to choose peace when everyone else choosing violence??? [thinking emoji]," the Grammy winner penned. She added in a a follow-up tweet, "Lol I got money I PAY FOR ALOT OF MY OWNNNN S**TTTTT I'll start from scratch bc I'm a mf hustler BABYYYY."

Megan has been engaged in court battles with 1501 Certified Entertainment CEO Carl Crawford. She filed a lawsuit against him and the label in March 2020, a few months after she signed a management deal with Roc Nation. She accused them of trying to block her from releasing new music because she wanted to renegotiate an unfair contract she signed five years ago.

However, the former professional baseball left fielder shut down the allegations. "It's a whole lie," he stated. "Nothing is true that she said. Me being greedy and taking money from her, that's crazy. I never tried to take nothing from her. The only thing we ever did was give, give, give."

Regardless, Megan was granted a restraining order against the label so they can't "prevent the release, distribution, and sale of [Megan]'s new records." The femcee continued to score another win in August last year.

That month, Megan was seeking "emergency relief" from court to release BTS (Bangtan Boys)' "Butter" remix after the label prevented her from doing so. Fortunately, a judge has ruled in her favor. The hip-hop star, real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, later celebrated her victory on Twitter by writing, "Y'all don't even understand how excited I am."
